Land Planning and Grading
Alpine Land Consulting works with the diverse and complex topography of the Four Corners region to develop efficient site plans. Grading and Site plans begin with a surveyor’s topographic information. Careful design considerations are made in order to conform to town, county, or state design requirements, which ultimately improves the project’s approval process. Grading plans are created utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D software which allows for more precision, efficiency, and a more balanced site earthworks.
Alpine Land Consulting also collaborates closely with the design teams’ architect, landscape architect and contractors in order to minimize site disturbance, maximize views, and find the best solutions given any site constraints. Due to rigorous reviews by public agencies and design review boards, Alpine Land Consulting works in partnership with all parties involved to achieve the project vision while addressing all environmental and public concerns.
Drainage and Erosion Control
The great Rocky Mountains can often create water runoff complications that become destructive in nature. At Alpine Land Consulting, we take careful consideration in our drainage designs to accommodate a multitude of storm events with cost-effective methods. All drainage and erosion control plans are created to keep water away from structures without damaging local ecology, wetlands, or existing downstream properties.
Septic Systems
Alpine Land Consulting takes care of our clients’ wastewater needs in ways that are out of sight and out of mind. We have extensive knowledge of the local and state requirements so that our septic plans are fast-tracked through the county review process. Careful consideration is taken on each site so that the most cost-effective method of wastewater treatment is selected and local ecology is preserved.
Secondary treatment systems can be designed to meet higher effluent standards and further protect public health and water quality. Additionally, Alpine Land Consulting can perform site visits to evaluate failing septic systems and create a comprehensive plan for a functioning system in various scenarios.
Driveway and Road Design
As Civil Engineers, we specialize in designing infrastructure that connects people with where they are going. We develop plans that position the physical elements of the roadway or driveway according to local standards and constraints. At Alpine Land Consulting, we have close relationships with the local Fire Department and other agencies to ensure that driveways and roadways meet all codes and represent the project vision. Our focus is to maintain passenger and pedestrian safety with respect to all design conditions.
Utility Design
Alpine Land Consulting works closely with local utility companies to provide quality services to all areas. We coordinate with town and municipal clients to tap into water and sewer mains and provide services to homes and buildings. In addition, we coordinate with local electric, gas, telephone, and cable companies in order to achieve a coordinated and complete utility plan for ease of installation at time of construction.
In more remote locations, we develop plans that include potable water wells, domestic water treatments and backwash systems, onsite waste water treatment systems, propane tank locations, and solar power. No matter how complicated a building site may appear, Alpine Land Consulting has the knowledge and experience to provide utility services that may be easily maintained and comprehensively installed.
